Certain essential oils for example spices can cause skin irritation for people with sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin we recommend performing a small patch test prior to using any new oil or product.

Although this is a subject of ongoing research and debate, an essential oil dilution rate of 1% is sometimes suggested for use of essential oils in pregnancy.
